Terms and Conditions Concerning Reservations and Cancellations of Solida Charter Cruises
- Entering into a contract and paying for the cruise.
- A binding contract is entered into once a customer reserves a cruise based on the quote received from "Solida Charter Oy".
- The cruise organizer, Solida Charter Oy, reserves the date and time, the boat, and any other additional activities the customer has ordered according to what is stated in the quote, and organizes the cruise as agreed, according to the cruise schedule accompanying the quote.
- We do not charge a reservation fee. An invoice, which includes the total cost of the entire cruise and any additional activities, will be sent to you after the cruise (within 8 days).
- The cruise program can be altered by means of a separate contract between "Solida Charter Oy" and the customer. Alterations can occur, for example, due to changes in weather conditions, or the customers´s travel schedules. The effect of such changes on the cost of the cruise will be agreed upon in writing, between the customer and the cruise organizer "Solida Charter Oy".
- Reserved cruise dates and times can be changed as per a written agreement between the customer and "Solida Charter Oy".
- 2 The Customer´ss Right to Cancel a Cruise Reservation.
- The customer can cancel a cruise reservation only in writing: by e-mail, fax, or letter. In such a situation, we charge the following percentages of the total cost, depending on the date of cancellation:
- Cancellation made less than 30 days, but no less than 14 days, before the agreed boarding date : 25% of the total cost of the cruise and any additional activities (sauna, accommodation etc.), as stated in the quote received from the cruise organizer "Solida Charter Oy".
- Cancellation made less than 14 days, but no less than 7 days, before the agreed boarding date : 50% of the total cost of the cruise and any additional activities (sauna, accommodation etc.), as stated in the quote received from the cruise organizer "Solida Charter Oy".
- In case the customer cancels a cruise less than 7 days before the agreed boarding date, the cruise organizer "Solida Charter Oy" has the right to charge the customer 100% of the total cost of the cruise and any additional activities (sauna, accommodation etc.), as stated in the quote.
- The date of cancellation is the date on which "Solida Charter Oy" receives the cancellation.
- Cancellation fees are to be paid after the cruise, and they have to be paid within 8 days to the account of "Solida Charter Oy". The penalty interest rate stated in the current interest law applies.
- Force majeure.
- Natural catastrophes (such as hurricanes), or any unexpected damage to equipment, are interpreted as force majeure situations. In these kinds of situations, the customer and the cruise organizer are to agree upon a new cruise date, or other compensatory arrangements

- Cases of Litigation.
- If the cruise organizer "Solida Charter Oy" and the customer do not reach an agreement on how the above-mentioned terms and conditions should be interpreted, or on how the cancellation fee should be calculated, the case will be settled in the District Court of Turku (Turun käräjäoikeus).
